Charles Biderman is the Chairman of TrimTabs Investment Research.
Mr. Biderman began his career as Alan Abelson's assistant at Barron's after earning an MBA from Harvard Business School. He founded TrimTabs in 1990. TrimTabs developed into the only independent research firm providing detailed daily coverage of U.S. stock market liquidity. The premise behind TrimTabs' approach is that stock prices are a function of supply and demand of shares of stock and money rather than fundamental value.
Mr. Biderman is a regular on CNBC's Santelli Exchange and Fox Business' Opening Bell with Maria Bartiromo.
DAVID SANTSCHI, PH.D.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
David Santschi is the Chief Executive Officer of TrimTabs Investment Research. He has worked for the company since 2003 in a variety of roles and is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's operations.
He also writes the TrimTabs Weekly Liquidity Review and the TrimTabs Overnight Liquidity Update. These reports cover fund flows, corporate actions, and macroeconomic trends, with a particular focus on mutual fund and exchange-traded fund flows, stock buybacks, new equity offerings, and leading economic indicators.
Mr. Santschi holds an A.B. magna cum laude with high honors from Davidson College and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Quantitative Research Analyst
Stanley Yeung is a Quantitative Research Analyst at TrimTabs Investment Research. He is responsible for maintaining and developing quantitative models and implementing investment strategies. Before joining TrimTabs in 2015, he worked in equity research for Topeka Capital Markets. Stanley began his career as a financial analyst for Flores & Barrios in San Jose.
Born in Hong Kong, China, Mr. Yeung holds a M.S. in financial engineering from New York University and a B.S. from San Jose State University.
Winston Chua is an Analyst at TrimTabs Investment Research. He has worked for the company since 2015. He writes and edits research reports and press releases. Before coming to TrimTabs, he was a reporter and print editor at the San Marino Tribune and the Beverly Hills Courier.
Mr. Chua holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.A. from the University of Southern California.
ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS
Grace Billings is the Assistant Vice President, Operations at TrimTabs Investment Research. Ms. Billings began working at TrimTabs in 1994. She has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the company and its affiliated firm, TrimTabs Asset Management, where she also holds the position of Secretary.
Ms. Billings received her business administration education from Santa Rosa Junior College and holds a California real estate license with the California Board of Realtors Association.
Ms. Billings was born in Dallas, Texas and relocated to northern California in 1990 to further her education and establish her career. She now resides in Santa Rosa and is an avid supporter of the Nature Conservancy Program.
Chaitanya Ananthuni is an Analyst at TrimTabs Investment Research. He has worked at TrimTabs since 2006 and has been involved in all aspects of the company's major data projects.
He is responsible for compiling liquidity data from around the world and distributing it to TrimTabs clients in various formats. Mr. Ananthuni holds a bachelor's degree in accounts and taxation and an MBA in finance from Osmania University in India.
